I find getting dressed up for business meetings and the like very uncomfortable. I have a short, fat neck so when I have to do up the top button and wear a tie I feel like I’m going to choke.This is especially the case with any shirt I get off the rack since they never have enough neck room for me. Heck, they don’t usually have enough body room for me.

I got this shirt from Bespokeable as part of their beta. I was pretty chuffed to have been invited to be involved. Bespokeable help connect tailors with those who want a good quality shirt. You put up a request of what sort of shirt you are after (style, casual/business, etc) and some details about yourself including a photo of your face. Their tailors then review this and propose what sort of shirt would suit you. They even make colour and pattern suggestions based on your eye colour or skin tone.

I have to say that this is the best shirt I’ve ever had, because it is the first one that truly fits me. Matched with a set of awesome cuff-links and it just says “this man is about business. Fancy business”. I can do up the top button and wear a tie and look and FEEL fancy.

And at the end of the day, if you don’t FEEL the fance, you can’t work the fance.
